Kick off the 2024 NBA Finals with sponsorship marketing industry professionals as we ride the post-season momentum in Vancouver. The SMCC Vancouver Chapter is excited to team up with the NBA as momentum around basketball in Canada reaches an all-time high. Join us for an exclusive event in conjunction with the NBA’s announcement of NBA House making its Canadian debut in Vancouver around the NBA Finals.
NBA House in Vancouver will feature Finals viewing parties during Games 1 and 2, interactive basketball games, meet-and-greets with seven-time NBA champion Robert Horry and 2004 NBA champion Rip Hamilton, photo opportunities with the Larry O’Brien Trophy, official NBA merchandise, contests providing fans with the chance to win official NBA prizes, and more.
Prior to its official opening in Vancouver, we’ll get a sneak peek and take a sponsorship marketing perspective on the league’s impactful campaigns aimed at drawing a national fanbase. NBA House is the latest activation highlighting how the NBA builds and maintains its national brand in collaboration with dedicated partners across Canada.
Join us as we dive into the nuances of successful partnerships and activations, the impacts and implications of west-coast fandom on the league, importance of creative vision and storytelling, WNBA expansion, and more.
